This is a commission from one of the lovely ladies at work. She wanted a tattoo for her back that represented her children and her as a mother. So I took th Kanji for "mother" as the base then did some stylized/tribal cherry blossoms to represent her three children. Comments are welcome. And any one who wants is welcome to use it for the same use. The idea was to color each blossom to match the birth stone of each child.
That is a very cute idea! I might use it for a tattoo for my 21st birthday and my first tattoo. Though I wouldn't use the "mother" kanji but maybe "Love" or something. I don't know, I am still playing with the idea of getting a tattoo for my 21st instead of going out drinking myself silly.

I put "love in" and I figured I'd let you see it. [link] I'm gonna go in a couple of weeks and get it done. I'll send you a few pictures of it when I'm done!!

This is great and almost exactly what I'm looking for a recent contest I posted. Unfortunately, I'm not getting a lot of entries that suit what I'm looking for. I want a spider on the branch though, instead of the mother symbol, as the tattoo represents my commitment to overcome my arachnophobia. The spider with the flowers represent that spiders are a beautiful part of nature too. I have a current tattoo on the inside of my left arm that's just a couple of chinese symbols, but some people have suggested that it might not say what I think it does, so I want to cover it up with something more meaningful. A spider or two in the middle of the branch should cover the symbols nicely. Do you think you could create a tattoo like that for me? I'd be willing to buy you a print or something. What do you say?

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
